Bond radios in
James Bond always radios in for help. And so it was only natural that we did the same thing for Martini Bond. I parachuted into BBC Radio London last night on the Late Show with Joanne Good – but it wasn’t really Joanne Good, it was Simon Lederman standing in for her. He was lovely, putting me at ease as I was babbling about never been on radio before.
I’d just met UK pop star Joe McElderry in the waiting area, and we’d both been given the same time to turn up. So I had been wondering who was going on first. It turned out to be me. Which meant I left my entourage (aka my husband) chatting to Joe McElderry - about his latest album.
You can still catch the show over the next seven days on BBC iPlayer. Here’s the link one more time: Late Show with Joanne Good
CommanderBond.net have also come up trumps again – with an undercover expert going by the name of Helmut being especially helpful. Many thanks to all at CommanderBond.net. Here’s their latest debriefing: Bond running upstream
So you can stream in officially from tomorrow (September 21) at 9.15pm London time. It only costs £2.99. If you do this, please make sure you log on 15 minutes before the show starts. For streaming details go to: www.thebroadwaybarking.com
I’m going to miss all this celeb business when the play ends its run on Sunday. It’s all going to my head! But it’s been a fantastic ride.
If you stream in, I would love to hear what you thought of Martini Bond
